Ted and Nancie Lowe Bio
Somehow, someway, all this happened:
- MarriedPeople actually started in our first year of our marriage in Lake Forest, California, where we worked in the youth and drama ministries of Saddleback Community Church.
- We then traveled all over the country speaking and acting at marriage and youth events.
- We met Andy Stanley at a BigStuf camp in Panama City Beach, Florida. A couple of late-night desserts with Andy and Sandra later, and I (Ted) was hired to be the Director of MarriedLIfe at North Point Community Church in Atlanta, Georgia.
- We were at North Point from 2001 to 2010. It was there that our hearts became increasingly broken for and focused on marriages!
- During our time at North Point, surprisingly, our biggest realization was the huge lack of emphasis on marriage in the church.
- And now here we are full circle, spending our days loving each other, our three kids, and creating resources to help churches help marriages.
